When I try running Star Trek Dominion Wars, it won't work. When I am running Star Trek Dominion Wars, I don't work either! But seriously, this was a game designed for the Win 98/ME generation. If you have a 64 bit flavour of Windows 7, you can never run it natively. While it will never run under Windows 7 64 bit, you have some chance at running it in compatibility mode under Windows 7 32 bit. Choose Run this program in compatilbilty mode for: Windows 98 / Windows ME from the program's Properties, Compatibility tab.
If you have a 64 bit version of Windows 7, I believe you will need to run and install Virtual PC in XP Mode to have any chance of a fully operational 16 bit subsystem. If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you can use Windows XP Mode and Virtual PC.
